Important COVID-19 Update

By March 19, 2020 Cats, Dogs, First Aid, Safety

Dear Clients,

Our efforts to navigate the Covid-19 situation are changing daily. Rest assured we are still here to support and care for your pets.

Our clinic is currently still open.  We will be adjusting our weekend hours, and will be closed for the next 2 Saturdays (March 21st and March 28th).  The Animal Emergency Clinic is open for urgent matters during that time.

In addition, we are providing only essential services at this time in order to comply with social distancing, and improve the safety of our staff and our clients.  If entering the clinic, please stay at a safe distance from other clients and avoid petting other people’s pets.

If you have travelled in the last 21 days, are experiencing any respiratory symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has travelled or is sick, we ask you to call ahead so that we can make arrangements to see your pet.

We are offering curbside pickup for your food and medications.  You can prepay via credit card or e-transfer, and we can bring your items to your vehicile.

We are keeping the front door locked and ask that you knock or ring the doorbell, so that we may screen clients at the door.

With the new demands placed on our supplier, delivery of supplies has been delayed.  High demand supplies are going to be allocated to veterinary clinics. We are asking that you use our online Vetstore to order your pet’s diets, or call ahead to pre-order your diet.  We appreciate your patience during this time.

If you have any questions, please contact the clinic at 905-434-2885.

Sincerely,

Your Thickson Road Pet Hospital Team
